شست‌وشوی حرم امام حسین (ع)
پیش از این، حرم حسینی قبل از آغاز ماه محرم برای آمادگی عزاداری سیدالشهدا (ع) و حضور زائران حسینی شست‌وشو و با پارچه‌های مشکی عزا سیاهپوش شده بود که با پایان ماه صفر پارچه‌های مشکی عزا از دیوار و اطراف حرم جمع‌آوری شده بود و امروز خادمان حرم امام حسین (ع) با بستن درهای ورودی به سمت ضریح و روضه منوره، اقدام به شست‌وشوی ضریح کردند و پس از آن فرش‌ها در اطراف ضریح پهن و درهای ورودی به ضریح باز شد و زائران به سوی ضریح مشرف شدند.

امروز حرم امام حسین (ع) نسبت به هفته‌های گذشته که شاهد تشرف میلیونی عاشقان حسینی بود، خلوت‌تر و تعداد زوار حرم کربلا انگشت‌شمار بود.
