مدتی قبل یکی از مسئولین در اظهاراتی عجیب، با اشاره به محافل روضه و جلسات عزاداری در کشور، آن را باعث افسردگی و شیوع خودکشی دانست. این سخنان با واکنش شدید از سوی جامعه مذهبی و هیئت‌ها مواجه شد. حاج مهدی سلحشور، حاج مهدی رسولی، کربلایی حمید علیمی، کربلایی سید رضا نریمانی ، کربلایی حبیب عبداللهی ، حاج امیر کرمانشاهی و حاج حسین خلجی مداحان اهل بیت (ع) در تازه‌ترین مداحی خود در محرم ۹۸ پاسخی زیبا به اینگونه اظهارات داده اند.
